Minor Injury Units are based at Camborne/ Redruth Hospital and Helston Community Hospital.
The West Cornwall Urgent Care Centre based at West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance offers Doctor cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and treats the following conditions:
1. Minor Burns, scalds and injuries.
2. Simple fractures (legs, arms, ankles and wrists). 3. Cuts which require stitching.
4. Chest and urinary infections.
5. Minor falls.
Cardrew Walk In Centre at Cardrew Industrial Estate, Redruth offers the opportunity to see a Doctor without the need to make an appointment from 8am to 8pm for 7 days a week.

Out of Hours
The Primary Care Trust has contracted with SERCO Health to provide you with urgent medical treatment at times when the surgery is closed, during the night, at weekends and over bank holidays. If you require this service telephone this number: 0845 2000227
Appointments
The practice strives to meet the needs of all patients. All consultations are by appointment. We offer a mix of appointments, some bookable two weeks in advance, some available 48 hours and 24 hours in advance and we also have appointments available on the day.
We also offer an Extended Hours Service especially for patients who are unable to attend during our normal surgery opening times. Appointments with a Doctor or Practice Nurse are available from 18.30 pm until 19.45 pm on Tuesdays each week, at Praze. All evening appointments must be booked in advance by telephone or in person during our normal opening hours..
Home Visits
Where possible please try to come to the surgery. If you know you are going to need a visit please telephone in the morning. You will be asked to give a short explanation of the problem so that the doctor can be notified and decide how urgent your request is.
