You may if you wish order your request for your repeat prescription and medication electronically using the form below

Please complete the boxes with all the information requested, so that we can fully understand your requirements and dispense your medication without delay.

Electronic requests will be retrieved from the computer at 2pm Monday-Friday. You should then allow at least two working days before coming to the surgery to collect your medication/prescription.

Dispensary

This practice is very lucky to have been awarded dispensary status some years ago. This has allowed us to give an exceptional service to our patients living within the villages Currently NHS rules say that for those patients living near to a chemist we are not able to provide this service - we hope that one day it may change.

WE NEED YOUR BUSINESS

Some patients will be surprised to know that we describe our practice as a business. Certainly. our dispensary is run as a small business and we do indeed plough back profits from the business so that we can have an excellent team of staff, specialist equipment and improved facilities for our patients.

Like all small businesses it is sometimes difficult to compete with large organisations who will try everything they can to attract new customers.

The service offered by dispensing practices is unique and very much compliments the work of the Health Care Team here. It is vital that patients who are able to do so make use of our dispensary. Future expansion at Connor Downs and Praze relies on this. We know with better facilities we will be offering an all round enhanced service at Connor and the prospect of a new surgery here at Praze will provide us with further opportunities.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
