Minor Injury Units are based at Camborne/ Redruth Hospital.

There are x-ray facilities available at Camborne/Redruth Hospital.  To access the x-ray service you will need to be referred by your doctor who will provide you with a signed x-ray appointment card and advise you to telephone the x-ray department to book an appointment for your x-ray.  Appointments can be booked between 9am to 8pm, Monday to Friday; and noon to 6pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. 

The West Cornwall Urgent Care Centre based at West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance offers a Nurse Led Service  cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week  and treats the following conditions:

1. Minor Burns, scalds and injuries.

2. Simple fractures (legs, arms, ankles and wrists). 3. Cuts which require stitching.

4. Chest and urinary infections.

5. Minor falls.

or in case of an emergency 999.

Home Visits
Where possible please try to come to the surgery. If you know you are going to need a visit please telephone in the morning. You will be asked to give a short explanation of the problem so that the doctor can be notified and decide how urgent your request is.

Antenatal Clinic :  During the current pandemic, our midwife clinics have been reloacted by the midwifery team.  Please contact reception by telephone for details of how to contact the team members.

Social Prescriber: Clinics are held every Tuesday and Thursday by our Social Prescriber, Nicky Adair.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE BY TELEPHONE AT THE PRESENT TIME.

Stop Smoking Service: The Practice has a trained Stop Smoking Counsellor, Michele Stubbs, who can give practical support and advice to help with giving up smoking. Contact reception for appointments which, at the current time, will be by Telephone on alternate Tuesday afternoons.
